Crystal Report Error in Citrix Server
If while preview or open report that created by Crystal Report that installed on Citrix Server, like showed in following decription:
Error code at invocation of Action:80020009
Source: CrystalReport Error Description: Cannot find database DLL, or
could not find p2sora7.dll, or
The library "pds***.dll" cannot be found. Continue to open report for viewing only.
These errors occur because Citrix Server and Terminal Server use the User Path Variable rather than the System Path Variable for clients.
By default, the Crystal Report Export Drivers (DLLs) are installed on %systemroot%\Crystal directory (generally c:\winnt\crystal), which is not included in the User Path Variable. Each user will have a specific User Path Variable making it difficult to update each one.
Solution:
Therefore, to resolve this issue, copy files from the Crystal Report directory to the Citrix Server's or Terminal Server's system directory.
1. Copy the files from the following directory:%systemroot%\Crystal
2. Paste the files to the system directory, for example in Terminal Server, the system directory is generally: %systemroot%\system32
3. Do not delete files on %systemroot%\Crystal, because other Crystal Decisions product may require this directory.
